why does moving air create sound

Nacht
Monster, das Holz frisst
Kontinuum
Etwas stimmt nicht mit der Sonne
Saft bis Ende trinken

why does moving air create sound

The recording of an experimental music piece is model, reference point, sounding score, conceptual framework.
The music creates movement patterns, polyphonies and monophonies, impulses for interactions. Ways of listening, images, stories.
We don’t hear it, we see it.
Bodies of listeners become bodies of sounds.
Sounding bodies spread, begin to oscillate, move their axes, fall out of balance, scuffle, start to interfere.

Wood and water
Night
Monster eating wood
Continuum
Something is wrong with the sun
Drink juice to the end

She is co-publisher of the book echtzeitmusik berlin. self-defining a scene (2011).

Neumann’s compositions address the performative contextualization of sound, reflexions about the use of media (simulation of new technology through the use of old ones) and the construction of meta-instruments through the conjunction of performer, instrument and space, the search for self-preserving musical systems within a closed instrumentarium and last but not least the beauty in noise.
